Women must take a special interest in supporting other women in order to help make gender equality a reality. We need to amplify women whose voices are unheard, reach out, and pull women up the ladder into our circles where we have found success.
We need more access to like-minded women that can invest in us by providing access to funds, one on one mentorship, and business consulting that will open doors for more women to play big and win in the areas they have found purpose.

Access to Finance is one of the key challenges that women-owned businesses face globally. According to a Harvard University report, women have access to only 2.8% of Venture Capital globally. In more challenged economies in Africa, the figures for female-owned businesses who have access to capital is even more daunting.

We firmly believe and support the underlying principle that women empowerment programs are widely premised on. Agriculture represents the largest private sector component in most African countries, employing a large share of the population and accounting for a significant portion of rural income. It is estimated that a $1 increase in agricultural value-added generates a $1.3-1.8 increase in the rural non-farm economy. Agriculture in Africa has significant growth potential given the increasing demand for food crops from domestic markets and cash crops from emerging markets. Sustained growth in the agricultural sector is therefore critical for overall development of many African economies.
To support their growth ambitions, African farmers need better access to markets and reliable and accurate information about prices for their goods. In addition, they need better and improved access to finance to make informed investment decisions. On the other hand, agricultural commodity buyers from across Africa need better information and access to products and markets in a timely and cost efficient way. We believe a viable commodity exchange can play an important role in addressing the needs of both African farmers and commodity buyers.
Agriculture for Africa
Agriculture can be an important engine of growth and poverty reduction. However, the sector is under-performing in many countries in part because women, who are often a crucial resource in agriculture and the rural economy, face constraints that reduce their productivity. Women make important contributions to the agricultural and rural economies of all regions of the world and comprise approximately 43 percent of the agricultural labor force globally and in developing countries.
The contribution of women to agricultural and food production is significant but it is impossible to verify empirically the share produced by women. Women’s participation in rural labor markets varies considerably across regions, but invariably women are over represented in unpaid, seasonal and part-time work, and the available evidence suggests that women are often paid less than men, for the same work.
It is time to rethink how we grow, share and consume our food. End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, as we promote sustainable agriculture.
Building Smart Cities
United Nations states that by 2050, it is expected that two-thirds of the world population will be living in urban areas. With more than half of humankind living in cities and the number of urban residents growing by nearly 73 million every year, it is estimated that urban areas account for 70 percent of the world's gross domestic product and have therefore generated economic growth and prosperity for many.
As a result, we need to build smart cities. As Africa grows and becomes more urban we will play our role and work to build smart cities.
In 2020 in response to COVID-19 we pivoted our focus to support the community during the COVID-19 Pandemic, by supplying high-quality, medical-grade Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
When WHO announced that COVID-19 outbreak was a pandemic in March 2020, cheap, low-grade quality personal protection equipment (PPE) were being sold at drastically increased prices.
Stimbok Corporation pivoted its business focus to provide affordable supplies to essential workers and businesses. With access to a vast supply chain, Stimbok Corporation supplied PPE, COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits and management equipment to Canada and several countries including Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Botswana, and Nigeria.
